The analysis and simulation of welded stiffener plates subjected to localized blast loading in Abaqus

This Tutorial presents the results of the numerical investigation into the effects of welded blast loaded stiffened plates.The blast response of stiffened plates has been studied in the past. In this video CONWEP explosion over the steel plate with stiffener and welded zone has been studied. Johnson Cook plasticity for plate and weld has been used.During the explosion a large scale of deformation has been occurred.You can see a figure of the experimental result
