Simulation steel can under compression load in Abaqus

In this video simulation steel can under compression load in Abaqus has been studied. To model can geometry with details import capability was used. In the below figures schematic of all geometry has been showed

The steel can is modeled as elastic plastic material model and Johnson-Cook plasticity is appropriate for this type of analysis. Dynamic explicit procedure is selected because this analysis is originally a dynamic phenomenon. During the analysis rigid body as a crusher push down the can and causes a huge deformation in steel can. You can see some figures of results at below
