In this video XFEM crack growth in the two Dimensional concrete palate in Abaqus has been simulated. Concrete is modeled as 2D shell element and Separation Traction Low appropriate with crack growth has been used. Dynamic Implicit step is performed and you can see some figures of this simulation at bellow
