numerical simulation of steel–concrete joints and composite beams

In this tutorial numerical simulation of steel–concrete joints and composite beams has been studied. The model contains concrete slab, steel sheet, steel beams and rigid bodies. You can see a figure of the assembled parts at below

Concrete Damage Plasticity(CPD) material model for concrete and elastic plastic model for steel has been used. Dynamic explicit step with smooth amplitude to assign smooth load are selected. The contacts among rigid bodies with concrete and slabs are considered as surface to surface contact. The contact between steel sheet and concrete is assumed as perfect contact. between steel beam and sheet some beam element as joint which is shown on the above figure has been used. These connector will be critical point  by reaching the pick of stress. The boundary is assigned to the rigid bodies and the quality of mesh should be good to achieve a rational result

After the simulation the maximum stress and strain, tensile and compressive damage can be obtained. You can see some figures of the result at below

You can provide CAE ,INP,and English video files of this simulation here. The cost of these files is Twenty-Six Euros. you can click on the bellow bottom to beginning process
