Impact Simulation against water-filled X65 steel pipes in ABAQUS

Offshore pipelines are frequently subjected to accidental impact loads, e.g. from anchors or trawl gear. A lot of parameters including the pipe geometry, material properties, pipeline content, impact velocity,etc.This video has presented Impact Simulation against water-filled X65 steel pipes in ABAQUS by using SPH(Smooth Particle Hydrodynami).Explicit procedure is appropriate for this type of analysis.
