High velocity impact on to ceramic plate reinforced with steel plate in Abaqus

This is a full English video to clarify high velocity impact of a steel projectile on to the ceramic plate reinforced with steel in Abaqus software. The steel projectile and steel plate have been modeled as a deformable part and for material model ductile with shear damage couple with damage evolution have been used. For the Silicon plate ductile damage with evolution,Drucker-Prager plasticity with hardening couple with Us-Up equation for fracture zone. Dynamic explicit procedure is appropriate for this type of analysis. Fix boundary condition for plates and initial velocity for projectile are assigned in the load module .The mesh quality at the impact zone has grate effect over the results.
