In this tutorial, the Simulation air blast explosion over composite panel(UHPFR concrete-Steel plate) in Abaqus is investigated. The Ultra-High-Performance-Fiber-Reinforced concrete is modeled as a three-dimensional solid part. The steel plate is modeled as a three-dimensional solid part. The steel bars are modeled as three-dimensional wire parts. You can see figures of the assembled parts below
The Concrete Damaged Plasticity model is used to model the UHPFRC slab. This model needs to define compression and tension stress separately. This model can show the tensile and compression damage during the blasting procedure. The elastic-plastic material is implied for the steel bars and steel plates. The dynamic explicit step is appropriate for this type of analysis. The tie constraint is used between the steel plates and the UHPFRC slab. The steel bars are embedded inside the concrete host. The CONWEP blast load procedure is used to model the air blast explosion. The fixed boundary condition is used for two sides of the panel. The mesh should be fine to achieve good results.
After the simulation, all results such as stress, strain, tension and compression damage,….are obtainable. You can see the figures for the results below
You can provide CAE ,INP,and English video files of this simulation here. The cost of these files is Twenty-Eight Euros. you can click on the bellow bottom to beginning process
